As your birth doula, I provide you and your family with continuous support, education, and guidance throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period. From the time you book your doula services until after your baby arrives, you'll have access to personalized support designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported every step of the way.
What's Included in Our Birth Doula Support Package
Continuous Pregnancy Support
Receive ongoing communication and support throughout your pregnancy, including guidance, resources, and answers to questions as they arise. Whether you're navigating decisions, processing new information, preparing for upcoming appointments, or simply looking for reassurance, you'll have a trusted source of support throughout your journey so you feel confident and informed every step of the way.
24/7 On-Call Doula Support
Beginning at approximately 38 weeks of pregnancy (or earlier if signs of preterm labor arise), I am available around the clock to provide guidance, reassurance, and support. Whether you have questions, concerns, or simply need encouragement, you'll have direct access to your doula as you prepare for labor.
Personalized Prenatal Sessions
36 Weeks – Virtual Birth Planning Session
During this prenatal visit, we will discuss your birth preferences, review the labor and birth process, explore common interventions, and create a plan that aligns with your goals and values. This session helps ensure you feel informed and prepared as your due date approaches.
37 Weeks – In-Person Birth Preparation Session
This session focuses on informed decision-making, advocacy, comfort in your birth setting, and understanding your options during labor and birth. You will also receive hands-on relaxation and preparation support designed to encourage optimal fetal positioning and help prepare your body for labor.
38–39 Weeks – In-Person Labor Preparation Session
Together, I will guide you and your partner with hands-on practice of comfort measures, labor positions, movement techniques, support strategies, and practical coping tools for labor. This session is designed to help you feel connected, prepared, and confident as you approach birth.
Continuous Labor & Birth Support
Once labor begins and you're ready for support, I remain by your side throughout your birth journey until approximately two hours after your baby is born. During this time, you are provided with continuous emotional encouragement, physical comfort measures, labor positioning guidance, advocacy support, and evidence-based information to help you feel supported, informed, and grounded as you welcome your baby into the world.
In-Home Postpartum Session
Within the first two weeks after birth, we will meet for a personalized two-hour postpartum visit in your home. This visit provides an opportunity to process and reflect on your birth experience, discuss your transition into parenthood, and receive continued newborn feeding and lactation support as your family settles into life with your new baby.

At Driftwood Doula Services, we believe every family deserves access to compassionate, personalized support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. We understand that every family's circumstances, support needs, and financial considerations are unique, and we are committed to creating options that help make doula care more accessible.
To support this commitment, a limited number of community-supported birth doula openings are available each month. These flexible support options are intended for families who desire the benefits of continuous doula support but may be facing financial barriers. Our hope is to ensure more families have the opportunity to feel informed, supported, and cared for as they prepare to welcome their baby.
